Amanda Filchock is a content strategist and writer for an education management company based in New York. A self-described word nerd, she spends her professional time creating, managing, and streamlining content for both digital platforms and printed materials. Amanda is in her second semester at the Graduate Center as a part-time MA DH student.

Amanda is the project manager for the Covid Student Archive. With five years of experience working with PMs, she has fine tuned her organizational and kitten-herding skills and guides the team through deliverables and ultimately meeting their goals. Amanda puts together the agenda for and runs weekly team meetings, helps smooth out impediments, and maintains the overall project plan. Inspired by the agile methodology, she strives to maintain a collaborative and transparent work environment for the team. Her supporting role is content management for the site while defining and maintaining a metadata practice for student submissions.
